Today I give a whistle-stop guided tour of some of the finest sights in Durham City.
If you know your way around this picture perfect little city, as I am fortunate to, then you can take in all the main attractions in less than an hour.
Filmed on Saturday, 17th April 2021. There are still restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, so many non-essential shops and hospitality venues remain closed.
The walk takes in the following:
- Framwellgate Bridge
- Silver Street
- Market Place
- Saddler Street
- Owengate
- Palace Green - home to Durham Castle and Cathedral
- Dun Cow Lane
- North Bailey
- Saddler Street
- Elvet Bridge
- New Elvet
- Kingsgate Bridge
- Bow Lane
- North Bailey
- South Bailey
- Prebends Bridge
- Riverside Walk
- Viewpoint for Old Fulling Mill and Cathedral
- Framwellgate Bridge
Footage captured in 2.7k ultra high definition using a GoPro Hero8 Black fitted to a FeiyuTech G6 gimbal.
